[origin: US2016228730A1] A belay descender device for a rope comprising a earn mounted rotating on a fixed flange to perform locking of the rope when said rope is under tension, and a lever articulated on the cam to perform progressive unlocking of the rope with a geared-down effect at the beginning of unlocking travel of the lever. The operating lever comprises transmission means collaborating with a guide ramp of the flange to interrupt the mechanical link with the cam after an intermediate position of the lever has been passed resulting in freeing from said ramp outside the gearing-down area. The end of the guide ramp of the flange corresponds to the anti-panic position of the transmission means, enabling automatic locking of the canvas soon as the gearing-down area has been passed.

Dispositif assureur descendeur pour corde comprenant une came (10) montée rotative sur un flasque (13) fixe, pour assurer un blocage de la corde (32) lorsque ladite corde est sous tension, et un levier (11) articulé sur la came (10) pour assurer un déblocage progressif de la corde avec un effet démultiplié au début de la course de déblocage du levier (11). Le levier (11) de commande comporte des moyens de transmission coopérant avec une rampe de guidage (21) du flasque (13) pour interrompre la liaison mécanique avec la came (10) après dépassement d'une position intermédiaire du levier, entraînant l'échappement de ladite rampe (21) hors de la zone de démultiplication. L'extrémité de la rampe de guidage (21) du flasque (13) correspond à la position anti-panique des moyens de transmission, permettant un blocage automatique de la came (10) dès que la zone de démultiplication est dépassée.
