Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015055333A1] The invention relates to a cleaning tool (10; 60) for a floor cleaning device, comprising a main part (14; 64) which supports a cleaning covering (18; 68) that is subject to wear and comprising a signal transmitter (22; 72) which provides a wireless signal depending on the degree of wear of the cleaning covering (18; 68). The aim of the invention is to develop the cleaning tool so as to allow an inexpensive detection of when a maximum allowable degree of wear of the cleaning covering (18; 68) had been reached. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the signal transmitter (22; 72) is rigidly designed and is fixed on a movable support part (24; 76), said support part (24; 76) being held on the main part (14; 64) and being movable from a main position into a deflection position against a restoring force. The support part (24; 76) protrudes farther out of the main part (14; 64) in the main position than in the deflection position, and the support part (24; 76) and/or the signal transmitter (22; 72) contacts the floor surface (72; 106) to be cleaned when a maximum allowable degree of wear of the cleaning covering (18; 68) has been reached.
