[origin: US2015111801A1] Provided herein is a medium speed diesel engine crankcase lubricating oil composition comprising: (a) major amount of an oil of lubricating viscosity; and (b) 0.1 to 5.0 weight percent of a silver lubricity additive comprising: (iv) an alkoxylated fatty amine or salt thereof; (v) an alkoxylated fatty diamine or salt thereof; or (vi) mixtures of (i) and (ii) above. Also provided is a method for reducing silver bearing wear and friction in medium speed diesel engines comprising lubricating said engine with said lubricating oil composition.
