[origin: WO2015055637A1] The invention relates to a double friction unit (1) for a texturing machine (2), comprising a first spindle assembly (4) for texturing a first yarn and a second spindle assembly (5) for texturing a second yarn, the first spindle assembly and the second spindle assembly being arranged on a common carrier (3), wherein the first spindle assembly (4) has a plurality of first friction spindles (6.1, 6.2, 6.3), of which at least one first friction spindle (6.1) can be moved between a first operating position (25) and a first open position (26), and wherein the second spindle assembly (5) has a plurality of second friction spindles (7.1, 7.2, 7.3), of which at least one second friction spindle (7.1) can be moved between a second operating position (27) and a second open position (28).
