[origin: EP3062226A1] Embodiments of the present invention provide a data replication method and a storage system. The method is applied to a storage system including at least a first storage device and a second storage device. The method includes: determining, by a first storage system, replication information, where the replication information is used to indicate data that needs to be replicated by the first storage system to a second storage system in a current replication task; determining, by the first storage system, first replication sub-information and second replication sub-information according to the replication information; replicating, by the first storage device to the second storage system according to the first replication sub-information, data that needs to be replicated by the first storage device to the second storage system; and replicating, by the second storage device to the second storage system according to the second replication sub-information, data that needs to be replicated by the second storage device to the second storage system. According to the data replication method, efficiency of replication performed between the first storage system and the second storage system can be improved.
