[origin: WO2015063023A1] The invention relates to a lighting device (50) for a motor vehicle, comprising a first lighting module (1) which has at least one lighting means (20) to which a first lighting function is assigned; a reflector element (5) which is designed to reflect a light beam, irradiated into the reflector element (5), in a direction predetermined by the geometry of the reflector element (5), and a second lighting module (2) which is embodied as a separately replaceable installation space element and is arranged in front of the reflector element (5). There is provision that the second lighting module (2) is designed, on the one hand, to emit light with a first irradiation characteristic, which light supplements the first lighting function, and, on the other hand, to emit light with a second irradiation characteristic which forms a second lighting function. Furthermore, the invention relates to a headlight (80) with two lighting devices (50) according to the invention.
