[origin: WO2015069194A1] A forestry winch with improved guiding, coiling and decoiling of a towing cable (2) comprises a frame, in which a winding drum (1) is embedded, which is preferably driven by Cardan shaft of a tractor and controlled by means of a clutch and a brake, and on which said towing cable (2) is wound, and moreover an upper pulley block (3) and a directing assembly (4), which is arranged within said winch frame and comprises two pulleys (44, 45), at least one of which is driven and adapted for forwarding the towing cable (2), which extends along said assembly (4). Accordingly, a pulley of the upper pulley block (3) is freely rotatable around its axis (320).
