[origin: US2016268707A1] A female contact intended to receive a male contact, the female contact including a base and at least one side wall having a free edge defining an open end, the side wall being connected to the base and including an inner wall, wherein: the female contact includes a helical spring made of an electrically conductive material disposed between the base and the open end; part of the inner wall and the base are made of an electrically conductive material; and the inner wall of the female contact and/or the spring assure/assures electrical contact with a male contact in the position of use.

La présente invention concerne un contact femelle destiné à recevoir un contact mâle, ledit contact femelle comprenant une base et au moins une paroi latérale ayant un bord libre définissant une extrémité ouverte, ladite paroi latérale étant solidaire de la base et comprenant une paroi interne, caractérisé en ce que : - le contact femelle comprend un ressort helicoidal en matériau conducteur électrique disposé entre la base et l'extrémité ouverte, - une partie de la paroi interne et la base sont en matériau conducteur électrique, et - la paroi interne du contact femelle et/ou le ressort assure(nt) un contact électrique avec un contact mâle en position d'utilisation.
