[origin: WO2015071318A1] The invention relates to a fairlead for guiding an anchoring element, allowing the anchoring of a unit, such as a floating unit, at an anchoring point and applicable, in particular, to continuous anchoring equipment of the submerged fairlead type with an integrated chain stopper, in fields such as the marine, offshore and marine renewable energy industries. The fairlead comprises guiding means (1 to 4) capable of guiding the anchoring element in translation between the unit and the anchoring point, and locking means (5) capable of locking the translation of the anchoring element in the guiding means (1 to 4). The locking means (5) are assembled on the guiding means (1 to 4) and are at least partially free to rotate around an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the anchoring element when said element is guided in the guiding means (1 to 4).
