Abstract (en)
A tool (6) for retaining a workpiece (4) comprising: a workpiece receiving surface (8); first channels (10, 10a); a first connector (14); a first non-return valve (14); second channels (10, 10b); a second connector (15) different to the first connector (14); and a second non-return valve (15). Each of the first and second channels (10, 10a, 10b) comprises an opening (17) at the surface (8). The first channels (10, 10a) connect their openings (17) to the first connector (14). The second channels (10, 10b) connects their openings (17) to the second connector (15). The first non-return valve (14) permits fluid flow through the first channels (10, 10a) from the openings (17) to the first connector (14) and prevents opposite fluid flow. The second non-return valve (15) permits fluid flow through the second channels (10, 10b) from the openings (17) to the second connector (15), and prevents opposite fluid flow.
