[origin: JP2016180581A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of changing a relative humidity of a printing base material capable of uniformly drying the printing base material or a printed matter to be optimally applied in processing of a printing base material web and the like and to unify a dryness with a desired residual humidity.SOLUTION: In a method of changing a relative humidity of a printing base material by a drying unit 1 including a plurality of drying elements 14 disposed in a crosswise direction with respect to a conveying direction of the printing base material and facing the direction of the printing base material to dry the printing base material with each drying strength, the drying elements can be individually controlled so that a printing base material web 2 or a printed matter can be particularly uniformly dried, as a result, the desired residual humidity can be achieved, and the optimum and uniform dryness for processing of the printing base material web and the like can be achieved. Ein Verfahren zur Änderung der relativen Feuchte eines Bedruckstoffs (2) mittels einer Trocknungseinheit (1), die eine Anzahl von Trocknungselementen (14) umfasst, die quer zur Transportrichtung (x) des Bedruckstoffs (2) angeordnet sind und auf den Bedruckstoff (2) gerichtet sind, um diesen jeweils mit einer Trocknungsintensität zu trocknen, wobei durch die einzelne Ansteuerung der Trocknungselemente (14) auf möglichst einfache Art und Weise eine besonders gleichmäßige Trocknung der Bedruckstoffbahn bzw. des Drucks ermöglicht werden soll, so dass ein für die Bedruckstoffbahn und die weitere Verarbeitung optimaler und gleichmäßiger Trocknungsgrad mit einer gewünschten Restfeuchte erzielt wird. Dazu werden mindestens zwei Trocknungselemente (14) derart angesteuert, dass mindestens zwei Bereiche quer zur Transportrichtung (x) des Bedruckstoffs (2) mit einer unterschiedlichen Trocknungsintensität beaufschlagt werden.
