Die Erfindung betrifft ein Montageelement für eine Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere für eine Fahrzeug-Brennkraftmaschine, mit einer Saugleitung (23), mittels der im montierten Zustand der Brennkraftmaschine (1) ein in einer Ölwanne (9) angesammeltes Öl einer Öl-Fördereinrichtung (11), insbesondere einer Öl-Pumpe, zuführbar ist, und mit wenigstens einem Abschirm- und/oder Leitelement (25), mittels dem im montierten Zustand der Brennkraftmaschine (1) ein Strömen des in der Ölwanne (9) angesammelten Öls in einen Kurbelraum (7) der Brennkraftmaschine (1) und/oder ein Abströmen des in der Ölwanne (9) angesammelten Öls weg von einer Ansaugöffnung (27) der Saugleitung (23) verhinderbar ist, und wobei die Saugleitung (23) und die Öl-Fördereinrichtung (11) mittels einer Steckverbindung miteinander verbindbar sind. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Steckverbindung derart ausgebildet ist, dass die Herstellung der Steckverbindung durch eine Verlagerung des Montageelements (21) relativ zur Brennkraftmaschine (1) in Brennkraftmaschinen-Hochrichtung (z) nach oben erfolgt.
