Abstract (en)
To provide a draft device capable of preventing fiber pieces from being accumulated between a top roller and a cleaning module, and a spinning machine equipped with such a draft, device. The draft device includes a plurality of pairs of rollers (14, 15, 16, and 17), and a cleaning module (64) arranged to make contact with and separate from a middle top roller (16b). The cleaning module (64) is separated from the middle top roller (16b) within a first angle (P) of 50° or more and 300° or less around the rotation shaft of the middle top roller (16b), and is brought into contact with the middle top roller (16b) within a second angle obtained by subtracting the first angle from 360° around the rotation shaft of the middle top roller (16b).
