[origin: WO2015083118A1] The present invention relates to an applicator (2) for applying a cosmetic product (P) to the eyelashes, eyebrows and/or eyelids, comprising a moulded applicator member (8) comprising: -a core (10) that extends along a longitudinal axis (X), -spikes (18) that are carried by the core (10) and extend from the core (10), and -an application element (13) that is elongate along the longitudinal axis (X) of the core (10) and extends along less than the length of the core, wherein the applicator member (8) comprises no spikes that project orthogonally over the elongate application element (13), or wherein at least one spike (18) projects orthogonally over the elongate application element (13) such that the top (S) of the elongate application element (13) is farther away from the longitudinal axis (X) of the core (10) than the free end of the projection of said spike (18).
