[origin: WO2015082534A1] The invention relates to the use of a surfactant composition for the permanent hydrophilic finishing of textile fibers and to textile products produced therefrom, containing a mixture of at least one non-ionic surfactant, optionally at least one anionic surfactant, and/or a cationic surfactant, and up to 60 wt.% of a hydrophobic additive. The hydrophobic additive comprises at least one compound of the group of fatty acid esters, vegetable oils and fats, and mixtures thereof.
