[origin: WO2015081446A1] Methods and kits for the prognosis of breast cancer comprising measurement of nuclear Ep- ICD polypeptides are provided. Measurement may be quantitative and/or qualitative. The invention also provides a system for generating an Ep-ICD Subcellular Localization Index (ESLI) value, which may be used to prognose breast cancer in a subject.
