[origin: WO2015081929A1] The invention relates to a plug-type connector of a known type, referred to as push-pull plug-type connector, wherein the plug-type connector consists of a main body for receiving contact means, a latching means and a first actuating means for actuating the latching means. The first actuating means is provided so as to be movable axially along the plug-in direction on the plug-type connector. The first actuating means is used for transferring the plug-in force exerted by the user onto the plug-type connector, the intensity of the force being limited, according to the invention, to a defined maximum in order to prevent damage to component parts. Furthermore, the latching means are actuated by moving the first actuating means in the direction opposite to the plug-in direction and the latched connection to the mating plug-type connector is released.
