Abstract (en)
A driver device is presented for providing output current for one or more light-emitting semiconductor devices. The driver device comprises a processor and a connector coupled to said processor. The processor is configured to store a reference value for use in limiting said output current, said reference value being dependent on what is connected to said connector, and to use the stored reference value in the absence of any component from said connector.
