[origin: WO2014041211A2] The invention relates to an epilation spring for hair removal, said epilation spring having a spring element (10) that has a central axis (M). A handle (20, 22) is provided at each end (16, 18) of said spring element, and the spring element has an epilation region (14) with a plurality of spring sub-regions, in particular spring coils (12), between which hair (34) to be removed can be pinched. The spring sub-regions, in particular the spring coils (12), are spaced from one another in the epilation region (14) when the spring element (10) is in the unstressed state, and hair (34) can be pinched between the spring sub-regions, in particular the spring coils (12), when the spring element (10) is pressed together in an axial direction by means of the handles (20, 22).
