[origin: WO2015086664A1] The invention relates to a dispenser (1) for dispensing compounds with a liquid to pasty consistency, comprising a dispenser head (2) which is movable in order to dispense compound (M), a reservoir (3) and a pump chamber (4) having an inlet valve (11) and an outlet valve (12), wherein a dispensing opening (5) is formed in the dispenser head (2) and a closure piston (6) is provided for closing or exposing the dispensing opening (5), said closure piston being movable in the direction of its longitudinal axis (L) and having a distal end assigned to the dispensing opening and a proximal end and being arranged in a compound chamber (9) of the dispenser head, wherein furthermore a connecting section (10) from the pump chamber (4) to the compound chamber (9) opens into the compound chamber (9) between the distal and proximal end of the closure piston (6), which connecting section has a central axis (A). In order to configure such a dispenser favourably with regard to initiating the dispensing operation, according to the invention the outlet valve of the pump chamber is rigidly coupled to the dispenser head (2) and, upon actuation in a first movement section of the dispenser head, in which an exposing of the closure opening (5) already takes place, a movement into the open position takes place, for example the outlet valve (12) moves into the pump chamber (4) without this leading in any way to a significant reduction in size of the pump chamber (4).
