[origin: WO2015086552A1] The invention relates to a tool holder for a rotating and chiseling hand-held machine tool, which tool holder has a tubular basic body, which surrounds a receiving space coaxially to an axis for receiving a tool, and which has at least one through-hole in the radial direction. An insert (25) is inserted in the through-hole and has a connecting piece (24) radially projecting into the receiving space. The connecting piece has along the axis successively a main portion (29) and a rear portion (27). Along the working axis (10), the main portion (29) has a constant, trapezoidal cross section that is defined by a roof surface (30) and by two opposite mutually inclined side surfaces (31). The rear portion (27) has an end face (36) that is facing away from the main portion (29) and two mutually opposite inlet surfaces (38). The inlet surfaces (38) respectively connect the end face (36) to one of the side surfaces (31). The inlet surfaces (38) are inclined between 2 degrees and 10 degrees with respect to the side surfaces (31).
