[origin: WO2015086205A1] The invention relates to a turbocharger (1) comprising a turbine (2) with a turbine wheel (4), said turbine wheel (4) being axially mounted in a turbine housing (6) and having turbine blades (8), each of which comprises a leading edge (10) for a flow of media. An adjustable stator (12) with a plurality of stator vanes (14) is arranged in the turbine housing (6) in order to adjust a flow cross-section (16) relative to the leading edge (10) of the turbine wheel (4). Each stator vane (14) has a vane rear edge (18) which faces the turbine wheel (4) and a vane front edge (20) which faces away from the turbine wheel. A plane is defined by a rotational axis (7) of the turbine wheel (4) and at least one point (P) which lies on the leading edge, wherein a projection of the leading edge (10) onto said plane is axially inclined relative to the rotational axis (7) of the turbine wheel (4) at least in one region, and the stator vanes (14) are arranged radially about the turbine wheel (4) at least in said region.
