The method comprises producing a strip (1) having a plurality of first componenets for production of a plurality of sfaety elements, conveying the strip (1) along a path, and placing a plurality of second components of the sfaety element to the strip (1)on the tail end of the path.The strip can transversely extends differnet from longitudinal and axis lines of the strip on the path (S) based on an adjustable extending roller (4), so a registration position between the first and second components can be adjusted; and the extending roller is provided with a double-axis curved external surface.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Sicherheitselementes für Wertdokumente, Banknoten oder dergleichen, das folgende Schritte umfasst: Bereitstellen einer Bahn (1), die zur Herstellung einer Vielzahl des Sicherheitselementes eine Vielzahl an ersten Bestandteilen des Sicherheitselementes enthält, und Fördern der Bahn (1) längs einer Strecke (S) und Aufbringen einer Vielzahl an zweiten Bestandteilen des Sicherheitselementes auf die Bahn (1) am Ende der Strecke (S), wobei die Bahn in der Strecke (S) mittels einer verstellbaren Streckwalze (4), die eine zweiachsig gekrümmte Mantelfläche aufweist, quer zu einer Bahnlängsachse unterschiedlich gedehnt wird, um eine Registerlage zwischen ersten und zweiten Bestandteilen einzustellen.
