[origin: WO2015090888A1] A device for cleaning reusable casks (2), comprising at least one treatment head (3) which is connectable to a valve mechanism (4) of a reusable cask (2), which valve mechanism (4) has a first opening (5), connected to a central pipe (2.2) extending in the interior (2.1) of the reusable cask (2), and a second opening (6), connected directly to the interior (2.1) of the reusable cask (2), wherein the treatment head (3) is designed for delivering fluids, in particular cleaning and rinsing media, into the interior (2.1) of the reusable cask (2) to be cleaned and for removing the fluids from the reusable cask (2), and the treatment head is connected to a pump mechanism (7) by means of which the fluids are sucked out of the interior (2.1) of the reusable cask (2), wherein the pump mechanism (7) is connectable via a bypass line (15) to a valve mechanism (11.2, 11.2') delivering the fluids.
