Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2015161976A2] The invention relates to a method for monitoring a vulcanization process of a vulcanization mixture (16) contained in a tool (10), ultrasonic waves being emitted by means of an emitter (22) in the direction of a boundary surface (20) between the vulcanization mixture (16) and the tool (10) which boundary surface reflects at least part of the ultrasonic waves. The vulcanization process is monitored as a function of at least part of the emitted ultrasonic waves reflected on the boundary surface (20), said ultrasonic waves comprising at least transverse waves which are generated by means of the emitter (22).
