[origin: WO2015090724A1] The invention relates to a pump device (100) for pumping a medium, in particular a gaseous and/or liquid medium. The pump device (100) has a rotor housing (110), a pump rotor (142) which is guided in the rotor housing (110), and a pump shaft (114) which is coupled to the pump rotor (142) in order to drive the pump rotor (142) in the rotor housing (110). The pump device (100) further has an electric motor (112) with a drive stator (116) and a stator winding for driving the pump shaft (114), and the pump device has a housing part (102) which has the drive stator (116) with the stator winding and a passage channel (115) for storing the pump shaft (114). The rotor housing (110) of the pump device (100) is secured directly to an axial end (154) of the housing part (102), and a closure cover (104) lying opposite the rotor housing (110) and the housing part (102) are formed in an integral manner.
