[origin: WO2015090918A1] The invention relates to a burner system for an external combustion cogeneration plant. The burner system comprises a diffusion burner (1). The heat contained in the exhaust gas is transferred to the supplied air in a second heat exchanger (7). Furthermore, the second heat exchanger (7) is insulated from the surroundings by a fuel chamber surrounding the second heat exchanger. In addition, the fuel penetrating the fuel chamber dissipates the heat.
