The die and punch are movable, by means of the stroke drive, towards and away from each other orthogonally to a film conveying plane. The stroke drive is arranged above the film conveying plane.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Tiefziehverpackungsmaschine (1) umfassend eine Folienstanze (4) mit einem Hubantrieb (22) für eine Matrize (24) und einen Stempel (23), wobei die Matrize (24) und der Stempel (23) vom gemeinsamen Hubantrieb (22) orthogonal zu einer Folientransportebene (E) zueinander bewegbar sind. Die Tiefziehverpackungsmaschine (1) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der Hubantrieb (22) oberhalb der Folientransportebene (E) angeordnet ist.
