[origin: WO2015102614A1] Oxygen scavenging films that contain iron-based oxygen scavenger and moisture regulator are extruded in single and multilayer form. The oxygen scavenging rate is enhanced by the presence of the moisture regulator which improves the rate of oxygen scavenger particularly at refrigerated temperature. The single or multilayer film can be used as a base film or sealant film to be laminated on a substrate. The laminates can be converted into food packages for freshness enhancement.
