[origin: WO2015096924A1] The present invention relates to a drum (1) comprising a sheet metal (2), a cylindrical body (3) that is formed by bending the sheet metal (2) into a cylinder, a linear seam (4) that is produced by overlapping the opposite peripheries of the sheet metal (2) on the body (3), and a step (5) that is formed by expanding the body (3), wherein at least one strengthening element (6) that is disposed on the step (5) so that at least some portion thereof is aligned with the seam (4) and that extends towards the center of the body (3) or in the reverse direction.
