[origin: WO2015082665A1] The present invention relates to a method for sealing a building or a part thereof in the wall and/or cellar region, wherein a) initially an adhesive is applied on the building or building part to be sealed, b) subsequently a first sealing sheet is pressed onto the adhesive, and c) finally at least one additional sealing sheet is pressed onto the adhesive, wherein the second and every additional sealing sheet is positioned edge to edge with the respectively adjacent sealing sheet, and a system for implementing the method, comprising a water-based bitumen adhesive and a sealing sheet, which has at least a cover layer and a contact layer.
