[origin: WO2015104076A1] The invention relates to a pressure sensor (10) for detecting a pressure of a fluid medium in a measuring chamber. The pressure sensor (10) comprises a sensor housing (12), at least one first pressure sensor element (16) for measuring a pressure of the medium, and a trigger circuit and/or evaluation circuit (22) for outputting a signal indicating a pressure that is acting on the first pressure sensor element (16). The trigger circuit and/or evaluation circuit (22) is arranged on or in a circuit carrier (18) arranged inside the sensor housing (12). The first pressure sensor element (16) is arranged on or in the circuit carrier (18) and is separated from the fluid medium by means of at least one first separation membrane (26).
