[origin: WO2015107159A1] The invention relates to a device and a method for determining the contact angle of a liquid body or a body filled with a liquid, consisting of a support (1) and a plane (8) which is connected to the support and which can be tilted in an angular range from 0° to maximally 90°, wherein the plane comprises a rolling surface (9) which is formed in the plane for the liquid body or the body filled with a liquid. Multiple sensors (11, 12) for detecting the roll duration of the body along the rolling path are arranged on the plane (8). According to the invention, the angle of inclination of the plane (8) is adjusted by an angle measuring device (10), whereby a roll angle can be detected at which the body begins to move. The contact angle of the body is ascertained from the roll duration, the rolling path, and the roll angle.
