Die Erfindung betrifft eine hydrostatische Axialkolbenmaschine (1) in Schrägachsenbauweise mit einer um eine Rotationsachse (6) drehbar angeordneten Triebwelle (4), die mit einem Triebflansch (3) versehen ist, und einer um eine Rotationsachse (8) drehbar angeordneten Zylindertrommel (7), wobei die Zylindertrommel (7) mit mehreren konzentrisch zur Rotationsachse (8) der Zylindertrommel (7) angeordneten Kolbenausnehmungen (9) versehen ist, in denen jeweils ein mit dem Triebflansch verbundener Kolben (10) längsverschiebbar angeordnet ist, wobei die Zylindertrommel (7) an einem mit einer Steuerfläche (16) versehenen Steuerboden (17) anliegt, und wobei die Axialkolbenmaschine (1) als Verstellmaschine mit einem veränderbaren Verdrängervolumen ausgebildet ist, wobei der Steuerboden (17) mit einer der Steuerfläche (16) gegenüberliegenden Schwenkfläche (25) um eine Schwenkachse (S) verschwenkbar in einer Steuerbodenaufnahme (2a) des Gehäuses (2) angeordnet ist, wobei zwischen der Schwenkfläche (25) des Steuerbodens (17) und der Steuerbodenaufnahme (2a) des Gehäuses (2) ein Gleitlager ausgebildet ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist auf der Schwenkfläche (25) des Steuerbodens (17) eine verschleißmindernde Hartstoffschicht (30) aufgebracht.
