[origin: WO2015107292A1] The invention proposes a tubular camshaft (10) for a motor vehicle combustion engine, which camshaft comprises at least an oil-circulation bore (12) of a determined first diameter (D12), supplied with oil (H) at a first end (14) via a coaxial supply orifice (16) and extending substantially along the length of said shaft (10), and which comprises a plurality of radial ducts (18) which are distributed along the length of the shaft (10), which pass through a tubular wall (20) of the shaft (10), and which place the inside of the bore (12) in communication with the outside of the shaft (10), characterized in that the bore (12) is closed at a second end (26) the opposite end to the first end (14) and in that each radial duct (18) comprises, inside the bore (12), an inlet end (28) which is arranged at a second diameter (D28) smaller than the first diameter (D12) so as, as the shaft (10) rotates, to form a spillway able to allow oil (H) to be discharged by centrifugal spinning and impurities (24) to be held within the bore (12).
