[origin: WO2015110768A1] Ski binding (1) for binding a ski boot (5) having a front sole (11) and a heel (12), said ski binding (1) comprising a front retaining element (2) that is able to engage with the front sole (11) of the boot (5), - a rear retaining element (3) that is able to engage with a projection (46) of the rear part (15) of the front sole (11) and/or with the rear sole (13) of the boot (5), said rear retaining element (3) being able to pivot, lifting or lowering its rear part, in the vertical plane about a horizontal axis (which may be a physical or virtual axis) orthogonal to the direction of the ski between a position known as the raised position (or "rest position") and a position known as the lowered position (or "engaged position"), a tensioning element (35) which acts between the rear retaining element (2) and the ski and/or the front retaining element (2) and is able to tension the boot (5) on the binding (1) and to allow the heel (12) to be raised freely, • said binding (1) being characterized in that it also comprises a tensioning link rod (6) positioned under the rear retaining stirrup (7) and connected to the latter so as to allow said rear retaining stirrup (7) to pivot in the vertical plane about a horizontal axis orthogonal to the direction of the ski, - a retraction stop (16) which is positioned on the ski or the front retaining element (2) and is able to cooperate with the tensioning link rod (6) so as to allow the rear retaining stirrup (7) to move back, tensioning said tensioning element (35), when the heel (12) of the boot (5) exerts a downward pressure on the rear retaining stirrup (7) located in the rest position.
