[origin: WO2015110514A1] The invention relates to a method for assembling a sliding door fitting (40) by means of which a device door (21) of a fitting device (20) which is installed into a furniture body (10) is coupled to a furniture door (11) of the furniture body (10). The method has the following steps: - installing the fitting device (20) into the furniture body (10); - fixing an assembly aid tool (30) to the device door (21); - closing the device door (21) and closing and pressing the furniture door (11), whereby markings (121) are introduced onto an inner surface (12) of the furniture door (11) by means of pins (312) of the assembly aid tool (30); - opening the furniture door (11) and releasing and removing the assembly aid tool (30); - positioning a base housing (41) of the sliding door fitting (40) using the markings (121); - securing the base housing (41) to the furniture door (11); and - fixing a slider (44) of the sliding door fitting (40) to the device door (21). The invention further relates to an assembly aid tool (30) which is characterized in that the assembly aid tool (30) has an angular shape with a first limb (31) and a second limb (32). The first limb (31) has at least one pin (312) for introducing at least one marking (121) onto the furniture door (11), and the second limb (32) has a securing opening for fixing the assembly aid tool (30) onto an end face (23) of the device door (21).
