Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a steam device (1) for hair styling which comprises a plate (2), a base (3) separate from the plate and connecting means (6) for connecting the base to the plate. The base comprises a steam boiler (4) supplied with a solenoid valve (5) to release the steam and with a hydraulic over-pressure valve (41). In this way, thanks to the steam boiler capacity separated from the plate, good steam autonomy and steam high performances can be obtained in safety conditions for the user and any limestone formation in the steam conducts which would limit the device life can be avoided.
