Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015114012A2] The invention relates to a detent device for a rotationally or translationally movable operating element comprising an elastically supported detent projection (12) having a convexly curved outer surface (14) and a detent gate (18) in sliding contact with the outer surface (14) of the detent projection (12), which detent gate has detent depressions (20) and detent elevations (22) that follow each other in alternation. The detent depressions (20) and the detent elevations (22) have a wave-shaped or substantially wave-shaped detent path (30) that describes a differentiable curve course, which detent path has detent-path low points (24) and detent-path high points (26) that follow each other in alternation. In the event of relative motion of the detent projection (12) and the detent gate (18), the outer surface (14) of the detent projection (12) slides along on the detent path (30). In the detent positions of the detent projection (12), the outer surface (14) of the detent projection lies against the detent path in resting contact regions of the detent path (30) that are arranged symmetrically with respect to a particular detent-path low point (24). The curve course of the detent path (30) has linear segments (32) in the resting contact regions of the detent path, said segments deviating from the wave shape. The course of the detent path (30) is likewise differentiable at the transitions (46) of the linear segments (32) to the adjacent wave-shaped segments (48, 50).
