Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1811111A2] The strip (1) has two opposite narrow sides (4,5) facing an inner side or an outer side of a window frame in an installation condition. Broad sides (2,3) are attached to a window side or an embrasure. The narrow sides and/or narrow side areas are variably formed in such a manner that one of the narrow sides has a higher damping braking action than the other narrow side in the installation condition, where the braking action is obtained by a coating. The strip is designed with a width in such a manner that the strip provides the sealing to the inner side and the outer side.
