[origin: WO2015114277A1] A tray (1) made from cardboard sheet material comprising a rectangular base (2) and a ring (3) of side walls (4, 5, 6, 7), including two opposed first side walls (5, 7), referred to as first walls, symmetric with respect to a transverse axes (8) of the tray and each respectively provided with at least one reinforcing element (9) forming a pillar, and two second walls (4, 6), including a second rear wall (6) and a second front wall (4) of lesser height than the other walls. Each of the walls is formed by a double panel obtained by folding an internal section (10, 11, 12, 13) over an external section (14, 15, 16, 17), characterized in that the external section (16) of the second rear wall (6) is attached to the base by a first fold line (18) and to the external sections (14, 15) of the two first walls (5, 7) by second fold lines (19, 20) perpendicular to the first fold line (18), the internal sections (10, 11) of said first walls (5, 7) are attached to said external sections (14, 15), respectively, by a third double fold line (21, 22) and the internal sections (12, 13) of the second walls (4, 6) to the corresponding external sections (16, 17) by fourth double fold lines (23, 24), the respective internal sections (10, 11, 12, 13) having the same dimensions, or essentially the same dimensions, as the respective external sections (14, 15, 16, 17), the free peripheries (25, 26, 27, 28) thereof opposite said fourth double fold lines (21, 22, 23, 24) being locked by friction and or by snapping of lugs (30, 31; 32, 33; 34, 35; 36, 37, 38) with the upper face (29) and/or corresponding recesses (39, 40; 41, 42) of the base (2) of the tray, and in that the internal sections (10, 11) of the first walls (5, 7) each comprise a central rectangular panel (43, 44) of length l less than width L of the base (2), said panel (43, 44) being linked at one of its side ends (45, 46) by a fifth fold line (47, 48) to the reinforcing element (9) forming a pillar provided with an end flap, said first flap (49, 50) engaging with the internal face (51) of the external section (17) of the second front wall (4), said reinforcing element (9) being folded and locked with respect to said central panel (43, 44) by means of a lateral flap, said second flap (52, 53), linked to the external section (14, 15) of the first wall (5, 7) by a sixth double fold line (54, 55) situated on the opposite face to the second fold lines (19, 20).
