[origin: WO2015114496A1] The invention relates to a gas burner arrangement (3) for a cooktop (2), comprising at least two gas burners (4-8), a gas valve (9-13) for controlling a combustion gas stream to the gas burner (4-8) and a thermal element (20-24) for monitoring a flame (25) of the gas burner (4-8) being associated with each of said gas burners, wherein each thermal element (20-24) is coupled to the gas valve (9-13) which is associated with it with the aid of an electrical circuit (26-30) in such a way that, when the flame (25) of the gas burner (4-8) is extinguished, the combustion gas stream to the gas burner (4-8) is interrupted with the aid of the gas valve (9-13), wherein each electrical circuit (26-30) has an electrically operable switch (31-35), and wherein the electrically operable switch (31-35) can be driven with the aid of a common control device (36) in order to interrupt the electrical circuits (26-30) between the thermal elements (20-24) and the gas valves (9-13).
