[origin: WO2015118247A1] The invention relates to a cartridge-loading device for a gun turret (1) rigidly connected to a crew compartment (21) of a ship. Said device comprises a cylindrical magazine (9) for containing cartridges connected to one another by a strip formed of links. Said device is characterized in that the magazine (9) is arranged coaxially to the directional aiming axis (8) of the turret and rotatably connected to the turret (1) during the directional aiming, wherein the cartridges are to be housed in the magazine with the axis thereof being oriented radially relative to the directional aiming axis (8). The invention also relates to a method for loading such a device with cartridges.
