Die elektrische Leitung (2) weist einen Kern (4) sowie einen auf den Kern aufextrudierten Isolationsmantel (6) auf. In den Isolationsmantel (6) ist vollflächig eine strukturierte Oberfläche (10 A, 10 B) mit einer Vielzahl von eingeprägten Strukturelementen (12 A, 12 B) ausgebildet. Bei der eingeprägten Struktur handelt es sich um eine Mikrostruktur, wobei die einzelnen Strukturelemente (12 A, 12 B) eine Prägetiefe (t) von maximal 0,15mm aufweisen.
