[origin: WO2015121287A1] Disclosed is a device (1) for unlocking a vehicle door, comprising: - a locking mechanism (2) designed to lock or unlock a door; - a safe driving circuit (3) to which the locking mechanism (2) is coupled and which is designed to address a signal to the locking mechanism (2) when the safe driving circuit is not actuated, said signal causing the locking mechanism (2) to be switched from a locking state into an unlocking state. Also disclosed is a rail vehicle comprising a device of said type.
