[origin: WO2015118182A1] The present invention relates to a retail distribution system for the automated delivery of retail goods, in particular foods, said system comprising a number of delivery points for the retail goods, a number of identification systems for identifying a customer, a data-processing facility, and an automated container warehouse for storing order containers that contain the retail goods according to customers' orders. The data-processing system is programmed such that after the identification of a customer, at least one order container that is stored in the container warehouse for the identified customer is transferred to a delivery point that has been assigned to the customer. Such systems are known as "drive-in" systems.
