[origin: WO2015121460A1] An illumination system (1) comprises several controllable lights (3) and a mobile remote control (2) for adjusting illumination properties of the lights (3), wherein the remote control (2) comprises a radio transmitter for transmitting control signals. The lights (3) each have a radio receiver, wherein control signals sent from the radio transmitter of the remote control (2) can be received directly by the radio receivers of the lights (3). The lights (3) can each be controlled by their radio receivers by involving the control signals transmitted by the radio transmitter of the remote control (2). The illuminating properties and/or the radiation characteristics of the lights (3) can be adjusted and controlled directly by the remote control (2) in that the radio receivers of the lights (3) receive control signals directly from the remote control (2) and in that the lights (3) are controlled by their radio receivers by the transmitted radio signals. The illumination system (1) according to the invention is flexible and is easily attachable and adaptable. The remote control (2) can additionally be used in a flexible manner due to the radio connections, whereby the illumination system (1) can be operated in a comfortable manner.
