Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2015124230A1] The invention relates to a screen printing stencil with at least one screen-like woven fabric layer (1) with woven fabric strands (6) which are arranged at an angle with respect to one another as carrier structure and with an imaged stencil layer (2), wherein the stencil layer (2) and the woven fabric layer (1) are connected to one another, and wherein the stencil layer (2) is provided with passages (3): according to the invention, a respective passage (3) has a smaller opening (9) on the printing material side (4) of the screen printing stencil (10) than on the squeegee side (5) of the screen printing stencil (10) and forms a continuous channel. A screen printing stencil (10) of this type has sufficient stability and advantageously makes it possible to print very fine lines and/or dots. The invention also relates to a method for imaging a screen printing stencil of this type.
