[origin: WO2015067301A1] The invention relates to an arrangement of a trunk (2) for a motor vehicle, said trunk (2) being defined by a floor (3) and by the two side walls (4) and including a canopy (10) formed by a case (11) supporting a curtain (12) extending above the floor (3) of the trunk (2) between the two side walls (4), said curtain (12) being retractable inside the case (11) by winding same around a winder accommodated inside said case (11), the floor (3) being provided with a cavity (6) arranged for receiving the canopy (10) when the curtain (12) is retracted, characterized in that the arrangement of the trunk includes means (7) for translating the canopy (10) between a high in-use position located above the floor (3) of the trunk and a low storage position in which the canopy (10) is accommodated inside the recess (6) of the floor, said translation means (7) including, on each side edge (10a) of the canopy, a pinion rack system associated with means for guiding the canopy and with means for locking the canopy at least in the high in-use position thereof.
