[origin: WO2015124217A1] Disclosed is a stabilizer composition for a halogen containing polymer, the stabilizer composition comprising: as a first component at least one of alkaline earth oxide, alkaline earth hydroxide, and calcinated dolomite; and, as a second component, at least one of a fatty acid zinc salt and a lead salt. An exemplary stabilizer composition comprises calcium hydroxide; zinc stearate and/or lead stearate. According to an embodiment, the stabilizer composition or, in another embodiment, a composition comprising the stabilizer composition is substantially free from isocyanurate.
